The farming
We grow with conventional methods to sell. The crops that we grow on our 170 ha (340 acres) can come in this order: Sugarbeets, sommerwheat, barley, oat, green peas, winterwheat, barley, lay-land, rapeseed and winterwheat.
Grandpa drives the combine and Maria drives the tractor.
The wheat is used both in bakeries, destilleries and for animal feed.
The barley is used for beer production and animal feed.
The rapeseed is used for oil and margarine.
The sugarbeets are delivered to the sugarindustry in Örtofta and the green peas goes to Findus in Bjur.
